Gambay: Interactive first languages map

First Languages Australia has taken on a number of new promotional partners which has led to the growing audience for Gambay. Recent highlights include:
• the ABC continuing to direct its audience to the site through news stories, webpages and competitions
• the National Museum of Australia (ACT) incorporating the map data into the closing display of their feature exhibition, Life in Australia, which is due to open in October and expected to run for 10–15 years
• Mapbox sharing the story of our map with its user audiences globally
• education websites such as ClickView and the National Education Summit directing teachers to the site
• the Australian Education Union and Queensland Teachers Unions promoting Gambay in their magazines
• Gambay being recommended as a feature display in the Australian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE.
