Young Champions at PULiiMA

First Languages Australia was again pleased to sponsor young language champions to attend the PULiiMA Indigenous Language & Technology Conference.

The nine nominated Young Champions showcased their passion and dedication to speaking and celebrating their languages, giving presentations on the work they do for their language over three sessions during the conference. They highlighted the importance of including our young people in language revitalisation efforts by actively engaging in workshops, sessions, and networking opportunities. As a group, they inspired not only their peers but many PULiiMA attendees through their presentations and individual conversations, as well as ABC Breakfast audiences through a live interview from the conference.
