First Nations Languages Education Program

The First Nations Languages Education Program reached applicant capacity in August 2024.

We have been working with the Australian Government as part of ongoing application assessments. We expect a number of successful applicants will begin their projects in early 2025.

These diverse and innovative projects will be supported over the next 2 years by our FNLE team.

Our monthly online Professional Development webinars for 2024 wrapped up in November presented by Dharug educators Jasmine Seymour and Corina Norman. Recordings of this series can be found at the First Nations Languages Education Program Vimeo showcase.

We look forward to welcoming attendees to our first session this month. This session will be an online forum for language educators from across the country to share ideas and discuss topics of interest with the FNLE team.
