Indigenous Language Art Competition

First Languages Australia and ABC Education have collaborated to offer the Indigenous Language Art Competition for a second year. This year we received over 700 entries. The 2021 competition winners were Rose-Anna Clays from Swan View Primary School in Western Australia and Max Galvin from Boorowa Central School in New South Wales.

The art competition has replaced our song competition whilst COVID has prevented students from gathering. We are looking forward to relaunching the song competition in 2022; inviting new school and community collaborations to participate and promoting extension activities for those schools who have entered previously.

Winner Rose-Anna Clays, Swan View Primary School
