Beau Williams, First Languages Australia's new CEO

Biderah Tduringar. My name is Beau Williams and I am the new CEO of First Languages Australia. I am a Murrawarri man from Western NSW. Before my time with First Languages Australia, I was working in health, both in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector and for government. My work background is in accounting, contracting and procurement.

The online Gakal launch was a great opportunity for me to meet people virtually and I have been inspired by the great work being done by Indigenous Language Centres across the country. I am looking forward to meeting with more people as time goes on.
