Arts Law resources for language centres

In early December, First Languages Australia and the Arts Law Centre of Australia hosted a meeting to introduce language centres to the legal services being provided through our partnership until mid 2021.

An annual subscription to Arts Law provides access to services including free telephone legal advice, contract reviews and professional development. Arts Law has also created an information sheet and several contracts specifically for language centres.

Meeting attendees raised a number of legal concerns relevant to language centres nationally. These issues will be the subject of further discussion, review, advice and support from Arts Law through the coming months.
