Collection management research project

First Languages Australia is collaborating with universities on a two-year research project looking at the long-term stability of language collections. This future-thinking project is funded by Australian Research Data Commons and involves several Indigenous-led projects. First Languages Australia’s role in the project is to ensure that Indigenous materials are accessible to their custodians now and in the future, and protected from misuse.

This project offers an opportunity to include a range of collection-management activities that may be of use to language centres. If you would like further information or to get involved, please contact us.
