AIATSIS collections news

Ngunnawal language activist Dr Caroline Hughes is the new Executive Director, AIATSIS Collection Services Group. First Languages Australia is delighted to have someone with Caroline’s languages experience in this leadership position.

In one of her first actions to support access to languages materials, Dr Hughes is ensuring that Collection Services Group can better respond to community requests.

The management of collections at AIATSIS is a huge job and we look forward to working with Caroline and language centres around the management of language resources into the the future.
