Diploma of Arts (Languages and Linguistics) – Charles Darwin University

First Languages Australia has partnered with Charles Darwin University (CDU) to promote their Diploma of Arts (Languages & Linguistics) course focused on Australian First Nations language contexts.

The Diploma offers flexible learning options for First Nations students including a rotation of subjects being offered as week-long intensives in Darwin 4 times each year.

The subjects being offered as block intensives in 2025 will be:

  • Introduction to Linguistics

  • Language Documentation Methods and Tools

  • Language Teaching Approaches and Methodologies

  • Language Planning for Revitalisation and Maintenance OR Language Centre Management

Enrolments for Semester One are open now and close on 7 February 2025. Enrolments for Semester Two are also open now and close 20 June 2025.
