Meeting with bilingual educators

To ensure that bilingual educators are well represented in Yalbilinya: National First Languages Education Workforce Strategy, First Languages Australia met with Top End and Central Australian educators in November. These meetings brought together bilingual educators with varying perspectives and experiences for critical discussions about how to better support future generations of language teachers. Thanks to the Warlpiri Education and Training Trust and First Nations Sovereignty and Diplomacy Centre for their assistance in co-hosting these important meetings. We look forward to continuing these discussions throughout the implementation of the strategy.
