New staff

Trinity Clarke is a Kuku Yalanji, Kuku Nyungkul, Lama Lama and Ayapathu woman who has come to First Languages Australia from our Young Champions program. Trinity is taking over Annalee’s former role in coordinating the Young Champions and Priority Language Support Projects.

Arna Walker is an accountant with extensive experience in payroll and systems management. Arna has joined our administration team in Newcastle.

Our team is set to grow further over the next few months. We are looking for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with experience in project coordination, community capacity building, data sovereignty, language learning and teaching. Remember, you do not need to be an expert in the national languages context to work with us – but you will quickly become one. Positions available are listed here.
