Young Champion Sponsorship

First Languages Australia is pleased to be continuing the young champions initiative this year. We are opening expressions of interest for sponsorship to attend PULiiMA Indigenous Languages and Technologies Conference 2023, the conference will be held in Darwin form 21 – 25 August 2023.  

PULiiMA is designed to bring Indigenous people together from all over the Australian continent and internationally to explore pioneering project ideas and exciting products and equipment that can be used in community based Indigenous languages projects. To read more about the conference or see what sessions are being held visit: Home | Puliima 2023.  

Applicants need to prepare either a short video or slide presentation (under five minutes) to be delivered at PULiiMA. They will also take part in co-ordinated group activities while at PULiiMA and be asked to report back to their community or organisation about the forum.
