Languages feature at World Expo Dubai

First Languages Australia was invited to provide content for broadcast on big screens across the site of World Expo Dubai for the duration of the event. Ten spectacular films from the This Place collection were selected, along with a 15-minute video presentation by First Languages Australia committee member Theresa Sainty showcasing the work of the organisation and language programs nationally.

The ABC This Place project is ongoing, community members who wish to work with the ABC to showcase place names in their region can contact us (or their local ABC station) at any time.
