New courses for community members who wish to learn or teach their languages

After a significant amount of consultation and collaboration, Tauondi Aboriginal College is pleased to be able to offer the following courses, in all states and territories, to Registered Training Organisations interested in adding languages training to their scope of registration:
10890NAT Certificate II in Learning an Australian First Nation’s Language
10891NAT Certificate III in Learning an Australian First Nation’s Language
10892NAT Certificate IV in Teaching an Australian First Nation’s Language

The development of this new range of language courses was prompted by the decision of TAFE SA to no longer offer Aboriginal language learning and teaching courses. First Languages Australia commend Tauondi and their collaborators for their work in ensuring that First Nation language learning and teaching opportunities continue to grow Australia-wide.
